  • Customer Service Sta (September 1999-July 2003, August 2004-July 2007, April 2013-February 2019): Accurately handling complaints or disgruntled customers, answering questions about products, maintaining cash accountability in all registers at Customer Service as well as precise accountability with bookkeeping and accounting
  • Training and coaching new hires on expectations and procedures specific to their bagging or cashiering positions
  • Administrative Coordinator (July 2007-April 2013): HR/Administrative duties including processing payroll, new-hire paperwork, assisting with insurance open enrollment, payroll corrections and maintaining and organizing personnel files
  • In 2013, this position with Publix was removed
  • The company began to put more of these responsibilities upon the managers throughout the store, therefore not needing a single associate doing the job.
  • Assistant Customer Service Manager (July 2003-August 2004): Managing the schedules of an entire department (20+ associates), training and coaching others who were striving to go into a management position
  • Constructively counseling associates when they would have customer complaints, cash discrepancies, or issues with other associates
  • In 2004, my oldest daughter was born
  • I made the decision to no longer continue my management position so I could spend more time with my newborn
  • It was after my maternity leave I returned to work in the Customer Service Sta Position.
