Rating Veterans Service Representative with 17 years of experience completing, reviewing, and implementing high quality rating decisions while serving in recent years as a mentor. As mentor and journey level Rating Veterans Service Representative, I apply laws, conduct research, and review regulations daily. Conduct an analysis of the evidence and use quantitative technique to assist others in completing quality decisions. Additionally, I work with veterans and their representatives in partnership to achieve equitable resolution of claims by conducting informal conferences and formal hearings.

I am a detailed oriented person with a well-developed analytical and organizational skill. Experienced in identifying, analyzing, and resolving problem situations, while maintaining a strong sense of flexibility. As a Rating Service Representative (RVSR) I analyze claims to determine if disease and/or injuries were incurred or aggravated by military service in the line of duty for purposes of compensation, treatment, or hospitalization. I have a detailed knowledge and proper application of the Rating Schedule and other applicable instructions, and I am fully accountable for proper analysis, appropriate development, and final rating determination. I have a detailed knowledge of federal laws, rules, and regulation concerning the veteran's benefits. My experience has given me the ability to evaluate evidence and other pertinent data to reach sound conclusions in a timely and efficient manner. I also provide consultative advice and assistance to Veterans Service Representative. I also lend my expertise in developing Veterans Service Representatives skills as they relate to evidence gathering for rating decision. I also act as an advocate for veterans and their beneficiaries in their dealings with other VA elements and organizations that affect their claims. I am a resourceful, competent, hardworking individual with strong professional ethics.
