Self-motivated strong leader and team player. I am a strategic planner who always thinks outside of the box to find the WIN WIN in all situations. I am extremely passionate about whatever I am working on and only give 100% of myself. I started running marathons in 2002 after business school. Since I have run 30 marathons and have received my ABBOTT Medal for running all 6 of the World Marathon Majors (NYC, Boston, Chicago, Berlin, Tokyo and London). I am a mom of 2. My youngest was born extremely pre-mature and lived in Mount Sinai Hospitals NICU for 3 months. Our family couldn't bond with her on the crowded NICU floor so I started TEAM ANDI after her. I built a charity team of runners who raise funds to build private suites on the NICU floor so families can bond with their at-risk newborns with the safety and confidence of the NICU staff outside their door. I manage, train, help fundraise and prepare all 25 runners for race morning. I took my passion and respect of the NICU team and my love of running and created this extraordinary TEAM. Andi is now 11, still catching up- TEAM ANDI runs pretty much on its own now a decade old. I am ready to get back into the work force and feel like I am contributing my encouraging energy towards my first love of marketing and retail.
I have been a passionate long distance runner since 2002. I have run 17 New York City Marathons, 4 Boston, 4 Chicago, Rome, Berlin, Prague, London and Tokyo. I plan to run Paris this Spring. I am fast for a female my age and am currently a Wanda Age Group Champion (My marathon times fall within the top 200 women in the world for my age group).
