Program Developments

Integration of Behavioral and Oral Health (IBOH) 

By January of 2024 I will be the key leader to implement strategies to integrate oral health and behavioral health by implementing behavioral health screenings in the Sunset Health Dental Clinic and cross-disciplinary referrals. We are one of only 15 other health centers across the country to be chosen for this program. 


Together With Veterans (TWV): Rural Veteran Suicide Prevention Program 

SWOT= Strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats analysis. The committee is currently in phase 2 of 5 phases of implementing suicide prevention strategies to reduce suicide within the Native American Veteran Population. This committee is the only one directly focusing on Native American Veterans within the Cocopah Native Tribal Lands. The steering committee is comprised of Native American veterans and their families.
