I am an innovative and goal-oriented assistant manager dedicated to enhancing productivity, quality, and profits. As the assistant manager, I would offer hands-on assistance to all employees and customers by assessing needs as well as maintaining knowledge of consumer preferences. I helped to develop a loyal enough customer base that during the shut down from the coronavirus, as a small local business , we were able to strengthen our operational efficiency while also remaining cost effective, and provide reliable quality service. Our restaurant was even presented with the Marion Area Customer Service Star during the 2020 pandemic. A few more key aspects of my job as assistant manger included directing our social media platforms and helping to advertise all important announcements as well as specials we had going on. I monitored all cash intake and eventually worked my way up to handling all finances related to the restaurant allowing me to take on more responsibility. By becoming the assistant manager I learned how to create professional relationships with outside distributors, take inventory, review sales, and increase employee performance by recognizing their accomplishments as well as implementing structure that was lacking before.
