Proven ability to foster educational and engaging environments, as demonstrated at Broward County Library and Broward Center for the Performing Arts, where I aided children both academically and in fields I am well knowledged in. Excelled in teamwork and public speaking in order to make sure events were successful. My organized approach and efficient planning skills helped to ensure outstanding project outcomes, reflecting a strong commitment to excellence and positive community impact.
As an intern, I was in charge of helping with the middle school group of the theatre summer camp program. I was in charge of helping them run over numbers and songs and served as run crew for their productions during the 2021 summer season. I was also in charge of helping to make props and paint them when not in charge of watching the children.
I gained experience in aiding the desired age range for what I wanted to teach and got hands on experience teaching them. Through leadership and cooperation with the rest of the staff team and other interns, I was able to help the campers prepare for their performances.
I minored in creative writing, which I believe went very well with my major and helped instill a further understanding of both crafts. Having personal experience writing these types of media inspired me to teach the craft. Using my talent for acting, I started voice acting, and with that came script writing and directing, all which helped me gain skills as a creative leader and work in a safe, comfortable and respectful community of my own making that promoted creativity, opinions, problem solving, and team work.
I am certified in Python from the University of South Florida.
