Motivated by recent volunteer work at RROC Children's Ministry, providing support to children with autism and behavioral challenges. Eager to transition from a background in food service to a fulfilling career in ABA therapy. Collaborated with a BCBA to develop curriculum and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), gaining valuable experience in effectively assisting children while teaching the curriculum. Focused on implementing proactive strategies, such as using positive phrasing, delivering one instruction at a time, and utilizing positive rewards and reinforcers. Witnessing the remarkable transformation in students' behavior was truly inspiring. Completed a 40-hour RBT training course online and eagerly anticipating certification as soon as possible. Ready to fully immerse myself in the field of ABA therapy with great enthusiasm.
