Summary

Having pursued a career in cosmetology, I am passionate in beautifying hair, skin and applying cosmetics. My goal as a cosmetologist is to constantly exercise and learn new techniques, efficiency, and master knowledge on all products that are in the workplace. A recent interest of mine is to use gentle and natural products on my clients, including but not limited to cosmetics and hair products. This will ensure that clients are feeling safe and confident with the service they are receiving. It is crucial to ensue the client is comfortable and has a memorable experience, every time. Providing benefits of products used and having a clear understanding of what your client is looking for in a style is key in building a successful client relationship. Acquiring knowledge about merchandise provides the ability to maintain and educate customers, as well as co-workers to recreate these looks. Based on previous work experience in retail, past opportunities have contributed to growth in sales skills, scheduling and organizational skille, and being able to assess customer's individual needs. Overall, being a licensed cosmetologist and retail experience has motivated me in being a knowledgeable, friendly, and reliable stylist. I believe I can apply these skills in many fields that involve customer service, having had many years of experience in performing services and having everyday interactions with clients via appointment scheduling and in-person services.
