I am a dedicated and versatile neuroscience major who is passionate about orchestrating success in diverse fields. Researching neuroscience, especially neurological disease, is fascinating to me because it explores the complexities of the most intricate organ in the human body. This exploration can lead to finding the onset of diseases and new treatments, offering hope and improving the quality of life for those affected by neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases. As an integral member of the university orchestra and badminton club, I have honed invaluable time management, team building, and motivational skills to run the club smoothly. As scheduling coordinator for the badminton club underscores my ability to manage complex logistics effectively. Furthermore, my experience as an event assistant and past club president has equipped me with strong leadership and membership growth strategies. I am eager to leverage my blend of academic prowess and practical skills to contribute positively in a dynamic environment.
As a scheduling/events coordinator, I am in charge of setting up tournaments and practice days at the badminton club, which has about 50 members.
J.LIVE Talk is a presentation contest held at the GWU for students of Japanese language and culture. The purpose of the contest is to promote the growth, advancement, and visibility of Japanese language and culture education. As an event assistant, due to the large scale of the event, I was in charge of promoting events on social media, managing the volunteers who helped out, and ordering supplies for the event.
Since 7th grade, I have played string bass in school orchestras. Currently, I am part of the University Orchestra.
