Infusion/Injection:
• Compliance blood transfusion data sheets. Managed blood transfusion quality assurance done at our 3 different infusion locations. Records of compliance were recorded on electronic graphs which were presented to our senior management team quarterly. This database helped SM improve on any changes that was needed and than submitted to LifeStream.
• Administered COVID vaccines, Estrogen, Testosterone and B12 shots, Prostate cancer medications, Bicillin and vaccines, TB tests, New Hire drug screens for employees including FIT tests, Donning and Doffing.
• Maintain stock of supplies, medications, and equipment in exam rooms
• Maintain office organization for functions related to scheduling, documentation, billing, coding, filing and patient charts
• Demonstrated proficiency in taking patient medical histories and vital signs, as well as in performing venipunctures, injections, various diagnostic procedures
• Ensured the cleanliness, sanitation and maintenance of all facilities, exam rooms and equipment.

Immediate Care:
• Triaged patients and obtained chief complaint, medical histories and medication intake
• Monitored and recorded vital signs for about 65 patients per day
• Performed approximately 20 - 25 phlebotomy sticks and EKGs per day
• Collected various specimen such as stool, urine and blood and prepared them for the lab
• Handled Urinalysis procedures using the urine dipstick
• Administered rapid strep, tests in addition to One step pregnancy test
• Assisted with other procedures such as Ear Irrigations and Spirometry tests
• Relayed messages from patients to the physicians regarding their prescriptions in addition to calling in these prescriptions
• Performed in-house lab testing including: rapid strep, HCG, Flu testing, INR's and glucose testing.
• Assisted physicians with office procedures including physicals, well woman exams, and office surgeries.
