Accomplishments
My greatest accomplishment as a teacher is building literacy achievement among special education students over the past three years. Having the chance to watch the development of children who didn't know how to read and are now interested in reading has been my greatest internal reward.
My greatest personal accomplishment is completing my first novel during one of the most difficult times of my life.
I successfully ran a summer basketball program for youth in New York City from 2014 to 2020.
