My main goal currently is to find a place close to home that I can truly make my second home. Ideally I can find somewhere I can be long term and move up with the company and help to make it better for everyone involved.
I started at Grindhouse as a food runner and quickly moved up to Keyholder, meaning I would either open or close the store and oversee the general operation during the day. The main reason I left Grindhouse was transportation, as working within walking distance of home has become extremely important to me.
This was my first job out of high school, I started as a delivery driver and worked my way up to the AGM of the Lawrenceville and Alpharetta locations. I didn't work for them the entire time between 2009-2021, but came back after my breaks working for Olight and going to school.
When Olight decided to move out of the building we were working in, the owner of the store we used requested that I stay and take a position at Going Gear. My main responsibility there was managing inventory. I placed all of our product orders and was the main contact for all brand representaives who had product in our store.
When I worked for Olight America(a high end flashlight maker with police and military contracts) I was the sole customer service representative. My responsibilities included handling warranty claims and maintaining contact with our dealers and customers. It was a lot of work, hundreds of emails a day with constant phone calls, but I learned an incredible amount about handling complaints and speaking with customers in general. It was extremely valuable experience for the service industry.
