  • Working under a physician daily, assisting with daily room set ups per physician orders, continuously on the phone answering incoming phone calls as well as making outgoing calls to update patients with appointments, or updating their referrals that the physician has ordered for them.   • As an EMS driver, I’ve gained experience working under pressure, especially in an event of an emergency. I had the opportunity to work under EMT’s, basic, advanced and paramedics. I’ve attended trainings, such as ambulance driver trainings, EMT training, such as running through different scenarios like car roll overs, ambulance landing marking if life flight is needed, learning to use a neck brace on patients unable to move in an car accident, learning to work together as a team, with flight nurses and paramedics as well. Learning to communicate through radio, learning different code numbers and names to better understand hospital transportation, and through EMS, PD and dispatch systems. As a driver, I was also able to know the inside of an ambulance knowing where equipment is kept, medications, vials for injections, backboards, oxygen tanks, making sure everything is wiped down and restocked daily
