Performed a work measurement study at the ink packaging area to identify non-value-added activities for a capacity analysis.

• Identified and reformed deficiencies in Change-Over process and current standardization of operations using DMAIC Methodology.
• Established areas of improvement per operation with gradual development in a 6 to 12 month term. With recorded progress of up to 31% on total cycle time reduction.
• Developed VBA tool to standardize collection of necessary statistics for future enhancements of the working stations and performance reportings.

Optimized the principal line of production to develop a higher throughput without impacting the current operation.

• Determined the root cause of the 4 principal working stations time variation to implement real time changes on the process.
• Normalized and Standardized value added process to reduce functions duplication.
