  • My job involves checking out customers, and ensuring their rewards and coupons are applied while bagging. I also stock shelves and face them; at rare times, I will reset a shelf.   • To start, I was a lot porter on the service side; my job included keeping track of where cars and keys for specific vehicles were. My duties were also to make sure the shop was clean, labeling canisters, and keeping track of shop-owned material. I would pick up and deliver customers' vehicles, or pick up and drop off customers. I was then moved to an apprentice technician position under our shop foreman. I was in charge of diagnosing cars with observations and computers, requesting certain parts to be put on order, waiting for the parts to ship, repairing the cars, and sending them out. I was also able to do alignments.

  • I was in charge of the front side of the store as well as the drive through depending on my task for the day. If I was in charge of taking orders on the drive-through, making sure everything was correct, occasionally packing orders, and ensuring they were correct. My other duty was side cash, which involved checking orders, cashing the customer out, and handing them their food and drink. In front of cash, I was in charge of cleaning the dining room, trays, and any dishes used, making special drinks, making sure everything was stocked, as well as taking orders, cashing them out, preparing them, and handing the food to the customer. I also had some special duties, as I had a vast knowledge of the store, which included any types of pullouts from the freezer and changing soda mixtures on the machine. The rare tasks I had were making the food, as I usually wasn't needed there, as well as on the fryer, making fries, nuggets, and chicken patties!
