I am both an amateur artist and a professional bartender. Throughout my life, I have been drawn to art through playing musical instruments, painting, fashion, and especially horticulture. Throughout her life, my great grandmother maintained huge gardens that my mother and I often visited - my mother says I inherited her "green thumb". When I was a child, I planted gardens with my mother, and in my teens, I indulged in house plants. I have indoor plants that I've cared for, for nearly a decade now. When I was a little girl, I became obsessed with floristry after watching the movie, "The Bee Movie". I built raised flower beds and grew a variety of annuals from seeds last summer, with the intention of selling bouquets at farmers markets. The curated flower arrangements I sold proved I have a natural talent for arranging flowers, and my own unique elevated sytle. As a professional bartender for 3 years now, I enjoy my job very much. The creative freedom to craft cocktails satisfies my passion to serve and delight people. However, I am ready to peruse a career in floristry- and follow my heart and passion.
