Candice "Alex" Claypool

I have learned from my Memaw a love for food and a strong dedication for helping and serving others. I have worked both front and back of house for food industry services and intend to continue to grow my experience in this field. My goal one day is to work my way up to a complete and balanced understanding of the culinary field, so as to purchase and run my own food truck. Until then, I am eager and hungry to learn!

• Sewing~ I enjoy creating costumes and making alterations to outfits I find at thrift stores!
• Drawing~ Currently, I am working on a comic idea for a webcomic contest. Hopefully I can use the prize money to help fund my dreams!
• Swimming~ I moved up from Florida. My legs were built for the sea! I love swimming and intend to make use of my apartment complex's pool once the summer rolls around!

• I have graduated as one of the top students in my school, with a 4.0 gpa and Summa Cum Laude honors.
• While at school, I achieved a perfect score on my Pert test for reading and writing (A test used to determine eligibility for pre college classes, used to gain credits while still in highschool).
• I have recieved a letter of invitation from Harvard to interview with a news station in regards to my environmental and STEM led academics. I was able to maintain honor roll for these classes, while taking them as advanced and honors courses. I was unable to accept the invite, due to money constraints. However, I am honored to have been invited.
