Carlos Norman

I started as a Correctional Officer in March of 1993 at Union C.I. I promoted through the ranks from Officer to Assistant Warden before retiring in January of 2025. Throughout my 32 years in Corrections I was assigned to 9 different facilities within Region II. During these assignments, I developed new relationships and learned how to be a better leader. The Department of Corrections provided me with a great career!

I officiated Football, Basketball, Baseball and Softball with the FHSAA. I also Officiated 3 state championship games in the sport of Football.

• Collaborated with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the stockroom.
• Stocked merchandise, clearly labeling items, and arranging according to size or color.
• Assisted colleagues in other departments when needed to ensure cohesive store operations across all teams.
• Maintained effective team member communication.
