I have over 1 years of experience working with children and young adults struggling with both mental and physical disabilities using therapy horses to provide community support for the individual clients at the request of their case management team. It was a truly remarkable program and I enjoyed watching these clients transform from nervous, introverted young people into confident, smiling faces who couldn't wait to get on their chosen horse and ride with confidence. It was one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of.
