My name is Charles L. Smith, born 7/7/1998.
I'm a trans man; my legal name is Sally Nicole Smith for legal purpose. Eventually this year I'd love to officially have my name changed for both me and for legal documentation Like handling job fair.
I grew up in Decatur mainly; however I've lived in Mobile, Al, Trinity, Al, and Huntsville, Al.
Throughout my life, I've always been surrounded by animals, from as small as a fish and hermit crab to as big as my large german shepherd. Just to name a few that I've personally owed/own; Quail, chickens, ducks, ferrets, green iguanas, skinks, parakeets, rabbits, hamster, cats, dogs, and some fish. My current experience with wildlife; when I was a teenager, I helped saved chipmunks from a flood in 2015 that flooded us and many of our neighbors with some sparrows that had got caught in the storm. At one point some robins who kept diving into the road when learning to fly. I've captured and released mice, rabbits, lizards into a wooded area or meadow that were away from homes, and even helped finish raising a squirrel. I got to watch them thrive in the backyard for many years. When I found a hare den I would make sure to put sticks not far from it to ensure no one would run over them. Rescued a large snapping turtle from a mud bed in a cornfield so it wouldn't get run over by the large tractor and released them into the creek nearby that was nearly a mile away. Least for little me it sure felt like a mile! I've of course fished; handling catfish, crawfish, wood turtles, frogs, and many more.
My side passion is creating animal art, costumes, rugs and during the summer, you'd also find me meddling in the garden. Growing a ton of different exotic fruits, veggies, and handling my birds. The chickens and quail.
exotic animals I currently have; are ferrets and quail. One day I hope to be a keeper of some lizards again; the red-eyed crocodile skink, blue iguana, or even a blue day gecko to name my top picks.
