    Obtained my United States Coast Guard Captain's License (OUPV). Requirements included 360 days of off shore sailing, a US Coast Guard class and written test and safety training (CPR & AED) as well as random drug testing and an extensive background check.

  • Adventure Travel I have sailed from Newport, RI to the US Virgin Islands and along the British Virgin Islands as well as the whole Eastern Caribbean on a 40' sailing catamaran This included anchoring in and exploring many islands such as St Maarten, St Barths, Antigua, Barbuda, St Lucia, Nevis, St Kitts, Guadalupe, Domenica, Grenada and venturing as far as Bonaire (part of the ABC's) while evading real life pirates off the coast of Venezuela
  • Volunteer Travel I spent time helping Captain Pete Bethune & Earthrace Conservation, a non profit targeting environmental crimes in the waters of Costa Rica on their old, renovated Naval ship Most notably was a two week beach cleanup in Corcovado National Park
  • Enjoy participating in yoga for overall physical and mental well-being and practice daily
