For last 12 years I have been involved with Pack 45 out of Timmerman and Troop 157.
In those years I have been a Den leader, Assistant Scout Master and the finally the lead role of Scout master for the Pack. I’m am currently the Scout master.
In the pack I set up the meeting and have projects to teach what the book requires to meet there goals to get their belt loops, and also to reach there rank to the next level of Cub Scout.
Troop I am the Scout Master for the girls but we do a family style meeting. We work with the youth with rank advancements. I also teach Merit badges, we just gone done with weather, next one will be Geocaching. I even set up a placement to go find one. It was quite exciting.
Training is also required to be Den leader and Scout Master as well with taking youth protection training. We have to that one Every year.
I am also involved with the Order of the Arrow and have my Brotherhood. This is another group with Scouting.
I completed my Woodbadge training as well and its training how we work with different types of groups and people. Working together as a group. Teaching how to make a stronger re relationship with Peers and scouters. It’s all about teaching our youth life skills so they can learn and succeed.
