Managed Pre-op, Post-Op and Endo areas of the surgical department of Lovelace Hospital. Scheduling of staff, assisted with admissions/discharges. Assisted in operating room as staff RN as needed. Sedation RN during procedures. Help control flow of patients in and out of procedure, communicating with different departments to create steady flow for OR.

Assisting Anesthestists with Nerve Blocks for patient comfort. Patient age variations from infant to geriatric. Tech I: Start and D/C IV catheters, insert and D/C Foley catheters, complete vital signs both routine and post operative. Coordinated with Physicians and Nurses to develop care plans for patients. Often commended for maintaining the safety, respect and dignity of patients.

Tech II: Medical/Surgical and Oncology: Assisted patients with healing and recovery after surgery. Obtained and recorded vital signs, insert and D/C Foley catheters, D/C IV catheters, Guiac stool at bedside, minor dressing changes, Blood Glucose checks.
