When I was around 5 years old, I was introduced to the movie: Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. I can recall having all these coloring pages and toys from the movie. I would watch that film so much, and I would get uber close to the TV, so much so, that my nose would practically be on the screen! I believe, on that day, a spark was lit inside me. That's when I started drawing. I would draw horses and I would try to copy the horses from the film. I can remember drawing a horse, coloring it yellow, and calling it, Spirit. To this day, at age 22, I still love horses. And when I was 15, I got my chance to own a real life beauty. I love all animals, and have loved animals since I was a young child, but my passion was in drawing. I used to tell everyone I was going to work for Disney. Things have changed. I have grown up. I would love to just get my foot in the door. Since age 5, I have made so many drawings; I am sure my mother has a whole drawer full! Anyway, drawing hasn't been the only hobby I have done throughout the years. I like to call myself a "jack of all trades," but you know what they say, Jacks of All trades don't master them all. I have to focus on my true passion, which I have many. The hobbies and passions I have collected throughout the years include: dog training/ walking, horse training/ riding, singing/ acting for fun, drawing, 3D modeling, painting, voice acting for fun, playing the piano, clarinet, saxophone, and bass clarinet, video editing, photography and possibly more! Some of these have been fleeting passions, so they come and go, but most have stuck around. At age 22, I am ready for the next chapter. I want to make connections and grow; learn and thrive. I will be gradating next May, 2023, and I am nervous, but also excited for the opportunities in store. I love learning and working hard, so I hope I can reach my dreams someday, no matter how rocky the road is.
