I spent several summers and winters volunteering to be an assistant coach for a Baseball Camp with the organization FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes). In these camps, we were expected to show up promptly and on time before any of the parents arrived to camp with their children. We would set up the sign-in station and prepare the drills and exercises we would be interacting with throughout the day. Incrementally, after a certain number of drills throughout the day, we would stop our workouts and lead our team in prayer and bible study. It was necessary that we were apt in our sport that we were coaching, our religion that we were teaching and patient with our team members while communicating effectively with other staff.
