I have worked as the billing specialist and receptionist at Pinnacle Chiropractic since March 2021. The patient scheduling and billing is done using Katana software. An important part of the job is to communicate with providers, insurance carriers, attorneys and patients on a daily basis. When working in a medical office it is very important to handle confidential information with discretion. As a receptionist, the job is to answer the phone, schedule the patient's appointments, enter patient information into the software and take payments. It is important to work at developing relationships with the patients so the patients are comfortable and want to come into the office for care. It is important to prioritize daily duties and perform them to the best of ability. It is important to do the job in a way, to go home proud of the work performed. In this job I have been successful at efficiently handling client inquiries, billing and administrative tasks.
