Pierce County Juvenile Courts, 04/2024-CURRENT: This is an internship where under a probation counselor I use case management techniques and help resource youth to activities that would most benefit them in success to completing a diversion program agreement based off their legal charges. This includes documentation, motivational interviewing, researching, community connections and follow ups.

This required stating safety guidelines and facilitating to lead and keep the group both emotionally and physically safe. Asked questions that were provided pertaining to health, healing and the biblical 12 step lessons they gave. At times this also meant introducing and welcoming newcomers to the program answering any questions or concerns they may have had.
