I am finishing my program strong and am always excited to learn something new! I love working in E.D. as well as O.R., where I get to put my new skills to the challenge and think critically for each case that presents itself. I adapt to most changes well and can get along with most everyone I work with. Humor and laughter are my best friends. Mostly, I'm thrilled to find a new home and hit the ground running to start my new career!
Started in standard retail setting, receiving and releasing prescriptions, data entry, filling, etc. I was later trained in inventory control, assisting management with storage control to accommodate for direct contracting (direct shipping of ordered replenish drugs through special pricing contract with company vendor) of prescription drugs to other company locations. I took orders, processed, and shipped direct contract orders to assigned locations. Later on, I was given the opportunity to permanently float out to other company pharmacies to provide needed coverage and assistance. Through this new path, I was able to learn impeccable time management skills in order to travel swiftly to other distant locations, and learned how to adapt to each center's specific standards and particular expectations. I also gained insight of cross training in different aspects of other employee's duties and job functions on a day to day, which allowed me to provide feedback and training to other employees at other centers, in order to create a more fluid general comprehension of company procedure and job functions.
Flipped houses through demolition and reconstruction for various investors, acted as laborer and foreman/supervisor on various site projects.
Started in item entry/ order entry, processed and entered information for incoming prescriptions. I later joined a new project in Clinical Services dealing with MTM (Medication Therapy Management) marketing free insurance covered comprehensive medication reviews to eligible Medicare customers via phone. I improved my interpersonal and communication skills while setting appointments and transferring live calls to pharmacists.

Received prescriptions, data entry, inventory specialist, maintained flow of medications entering pharmacy, while providing outstanding customer service. Served time as Certified Senior Lead Technician, whose responsibilities included weekly schedule of other employees, and undertaking several projects to closely assist pharmacist on duty.
Receiving prescriptions, data entry, inventory specialist, maintained flow of medications entering pharmacy, outstanding customer service, learned to adapt in a high stress environment, with multiple nearby hospitals and constant incoming patients.
Also learned how to repair various packing machinery, as to save time and bypass lengthy wait times for repair personnel.
Was cross trained in all aspects, was mainly in charge of small animal department.
I speak a very decent amount of spanish, that has helped me in both pharmacy and radiology. I have earned the Eagle Scout Award, while working with the Boy Scouts of America in my youth.
