
I have been in the medical business since February 1979. I am extremely dependent and hard working. My computer skills include Word and Excel spreadsheets. I am proficient at both NextGen and Epic electronic medical record programs. I have excellent communication skills with all medical professional disciplines, as well as the general public. I continue to have working relationships with many area hospitals departments, as well as free-standing imaging facilities.
The referral coordinator job changed and was moved to a central location for all SCL Health Clinics. Due to the nature of the position change, I opted to train for and change job description to Patient Service Representative in order to remain in the office with my peers.
I began with Foothills Family Medicine as their medical transcriptionist, however in approximately 2010 I transitioned into the full time Referral Coordinator responsible for all referrals and authorizations.
