May assist mental health clinical staff in locating and/or securing hospital bed(s) for individuals who have been deemed in need of hospitalization by the psychiatrist (PEC-Physicians Emergency Commitment).

Responds to emergency situations to assist individuals in de-escalation and to provide support/reassurance as needed. This may include working after normal work hours, weekends or on holidays.

Additional duties included serving as the Safety Coordinator for the St. Tammany Parish location of ECSS. Responsibilities included are conducting safety meetings, conducting incident/accident investigations, maintaining the First Aid Kit and maintaining the Occupational Injury Log.

Additional duties included maintaining the assigned state vehicle; whereby, conducting a pre and post trip inspections, filling with gas and oil change and inspections when required.
