• I was able to shadow surgeons and providers at Womens Care FL over the summer, watching many different kinds of gynecology surgeries as well as following doctors throughout their day to day, listening in on medical advice and common patient problems.
• Assisted doctors when needed in cleaning or being handed medical equipment.
• Adhered to all safety protocols while observing patient care activities in the clinical setting.

I was responsible for up to 40 dogs and puppies at a time. My responsibilities included weighing newborn puppies, administering medicine, cleaning the house as well as any dishes, floors, cleaning up messes, carrying dogs and cleaning their living area.

I worked with volunteers and guided them on how to assist me and the dogs and puppies.

I worked closely with coworkers on shifts, schedules, and coming in early or staying late to help with the dogs.

I learned how to take care of puppies properly including gaining knowledge on medication, proper sanitary measures, and completed many tasks around the area.
