I worked at the Courtyard by Marriott Athens Downtown throughout the school year while continuing my studies. In this position, I assisted guests with check-in/out procedures. helping ensure smoother transitions during high-volume periods. I also collaborated with team members in order to enhance overall guest experiences through effective communication and support. Taking phone calls and helping guests with inquiries was also a large portion of my daily tasks.

One of my hobbies is baking. While I was home for summer break I wanted to get a job in a field that I enjoy and could learn from. At "Smallcakes" I was able to meet both of those desires. I was able to learn how a bakery operates on a daily basis. Throughout the day, I would assist customers as they came in to order and answer any questions they may have had, I replenished the stock and I assisted in decorating the cupcakes as they were getting ready to be put into the display box.
