I have been working in the medical field for over 20 years, primarily in pediatrics, but with knowledge and experience with adults and elders. I have great communication skills while maintaining a positive and confidential relationship with patients. I have experience in full front office tasks, such as insurance verification, scheduling, appointment reminder calls medication prior authorizations, filing, referrals, audit preparation, taking calls, and relaying messages to the provider/patient while maintaining professionalism. I also have experience in clinicals, such as manual vitals, specimen collection for in-house and send-out testing, medication administration, and drawing and administering vaccines, with knowledge of what is being administered. I have mild knowledge in electronic charting due to only working with paper charts for my entire career as a medical assistant, but with training, I can catch on quickly. I am a self-motivated worker, and I am also a great team worker.
