I have loved building connections with both students and staff at each school I have been placed. I bring a positive attitude, background in leadership, and an eagerness to learn and grow. My philosophy of education is that learning never stops! I hope that every day I learn something new and teach my students to strive for the same! I love planning unique and engaging research-based lessons, and I hope to encourage wonder in my classroom each and every day.
Though I have accomplished a lot through out my high school and college experiences, what I am most proud of is my years of volunteer work. I have been honored to serve my community through the soup kitchen, activity coordinating at the nursing home, providing Christmas gifts for children in need, and so much more. I have also had the privilege of starting a women's bible study through my sorority, which I have now lead for 4 semesters. I am certain the group I started will continue long after I'm gone. I also had the privilege of serving as apparel chair for my sorority where I was able to design clothing and coordinate to make sure everyone loved the designs! I have also enjoyed raising money for breast cancer through Zeta Tau Alpha, and educating my community on the risks and affects of cancer as a whole. One of my biggest accomplishments is my work life. I can confidently say I have given 100% everywhere I have worked, and have made amazing connections with my employers and other staff. I have always been eager to learn new skills, and have frequently been asked to training new employees. At my current job, I handle many responsibilities as manager, including assisting in ordering new inventory, working closely with customers, training new staff, and so much more! I put a lot of pride into my work and strive to improve every day!
