In my time as Vice President of Events for Fashion Marketing Club, I have put together events like our Puppies & Pop-Ups event, hosted by our club in December of 2024. I spent two months planning with vendors and venues to put this together and am very proud of the result. We were able to bring together various small businesses run by other Clemson students, for a pre-holiday shopping event. This was a huge success for our club and myself, and just the beginning of more events to come.
Track and Field: I joined the track team in sixth grade, and continued to be a member until after my sophomore year. Once I got to high school, I started participating in both the indoor and outdoor seasons of track for the two years that I attended Jamesville-DeWitt High School. In this time, I competed in both the Junior Varsity and Varsity meets.
Outdoor Pursuits Club: I was the Vice President of the Outdoor Pursuits club at my school during my sophomore year. We organized fun and active trips for us and our members to go on, funded by bake sales and other fundraisers that we prepared.
Chorus: I started singing in my school choir as soon as it was offered in early middle school, and stayed with it for my entire middle and high school career. At Jamesville-DeWitt High School I made it into the high-level choir during my sophomore year after auditioning for the directors, and continued to be a chorus member after moving to South Carolina. During my senior year, I once again auditioned for the Wando High School directors and was placed in the high-level choir, which was highly competitive.
