I have been riding horse for over 10 years. I competed in the Fall 2021-Spring 2022 show season with my mare, Lady Robin's Rhinestone AKA Robin. Together we took home 21 ribbons in classes such as English Pleasure, English Equitation, Showmanship, and Competitive Trail. I have also successfully turned her into a safe and confident trail horse for the first time in her 22 years of living. We make a great team, and have taught each other a lot in our 3 years together.
I have been drawing on and off for about 7 years now. I started with tracing, then moved on to following step-by-step instructions, and now I can draw freehand by simply looking at a reference. I have sold some of my art to friends and family, and I have a nearly full sketchbook filled with drawings I take deep pride in.
I enjoy baking in the cooler seasons. I have a chocolate chip cookie recipe that I am most proud of; it was famous among my fellow JROTC cadets, and it is the first recipe my parents ask me to make when they have a special event to attend. The cookies are a huge hit wherever they go. I am also starting to challenge myself to bake new things, like cheesecake, and learn new skills like how to decorate a cake or cupcakes.
