I have always wanted to become a police officer so I can give back to my community and make a real difference in people’s lives. Friends and mentors say my biggest strengths are my ability to communicate and my natural empathy skills that help me connect with people, even when things get tough. Through HOBY (Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership), I learned what it means to lead with purpose, work as a team, and serve others. My family’s history with drug addiction has fueled a personal goal: one day serving on a drug task force to fight substance abuse and help people find a path to recovery. My aim is to bring both compassion and courage to a career built on justice, service, and healing.
