Grief Support Specialist, The Grief Recovery Institute - 06/2023
BLS Certified
Certified Grief Support Specialist by the Grief Recovery Institute
I start the Grief Support Specialist training on 06/12/2023 with The Grief Recovery Institute. The program has been proven to be evidence based and effective by Kent State University. The training will provide tools to effectively help our relatives recover from loss and help with their healing journey. A Grief Support Specialist helps people move beyond death, divorce and other losses by using the tools that are taught in the 4-day training. I plan on using the material and some of my own personal experience with grief to walk along side with our relatives during their difficult times.
