Teach4Change - Los Angeles, CA

Teach4Change is a nonprofit organization started by students at UCLA. The organization works to tutor and mentor individuals battling addiction at rehab centers throughout Los Angeles, primarily at the Chabad Residential Treatment Center.

• On a weekly basis I mentored individuals based on their desired path.
• Assisted students in developing their resumes, research programs, enrolling them in classes, applying to schools, and tutoring them for the GED.
• Mentored them towards becoming well-rounded students by finding study methods that work for them.

SHALVA- Jerusalem, Israel

Shalva, the Israel Association for the Care and Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities is dedicated to providing transformative care for individuals with disabilities, empowering their families and promoting social inclusion.

• On my Gap Year in Israel, I volunteered as a hydro-therapist with special needs children, ages 16 months-5 years old.
• Through hydrotherapy, I helped create a unique environment in which children could improve flexibility, strength and self-confidence.
• As a kindergarten assistant teacher, I helped the children in larger group settings and individually based on their specific needs.
