This experience has taught me patience, and has showed me how to become a leader and role model for others. I have become adept in teaching others in a respectful manner and have become comfortable being in charge and managing tasks.

I volunteered to help at Special Olympics, which is a sports competition that people with special needs participate in.

Responsibilities-

. Learning and caring for the individual needs of everyone at special olympics.

Takeaways-

This experience has taught me how to adapt to new situations easily. It has also taught me how to remain calm in stressful situations. I have improved my communication skills greatly due to this opportunity and have a better understanding of others and their needs.
