In high school when I played football, my senior year, I received an award called "Comeback Player of the Year". I received this award by coming back and playing a football season after having a complete tear of my ACL and minor damage to my meniscus. I recovered from my injury in 6 months instead of 9 months, the average recovery time for an injury like that is 9 months but I wanted to play my last season so bad. After coming back we finished the season 11-2 and went to the 3rd round of the NCHSAA playoffs.
I started playing football in the 3rd grade on a Pop Warner team, I fell in love with the sport and continued it. I started on varsity for 3 years in high school, then I got an offer to play football at Barton College where I currently attend school and participate in football. I have been lifting since the 8th grade, I used to walk over a small bridge to the high school to lift with the football team and I have been in love with lifting ever since. Currently trying to get stronger than I already am. I picked up fishing while I was in college with a great friend that I picked up along the way, we go out every now and then, but fishing is very peaceful and calming to the mind.
