I am currently the Assistant Director at Memorial Baptist Church Explorers. I manage enrollment and billing. I make the weekly schedule for all the teachers and staff. I assist teachers when needed, conduct fire drills among other safety practices. I purchase supplies for the school and do most of the administrative and secretarial duties for the office in addition to overseeing fund raisers and special events for the school. I also assisting teachers when needed and communicate daily with parents about the children’s progress or any issues that may arise.

I homeschooled my children and provided childcare for several others ranging from newborns (8weeks) to kindergarten. We did educational activities and crafts, went on “field trips”, I provided breakfast, lunch and several snacks for all the children. For the young babies I sent home a log of all the infants’ naps, feedings and diapers changes throughout the day. I also provided transportation when needed.

Record Highs in Fund Raising for 2024/2025
Achieved the highest level of enrollment for MBC to date. Our school maintained maximum capacity enrollment the entire school year even after raising tuition and still keeping a waiting list in every class.
Teacher turnover has decreased by 70% and pay raises were given across the board this year as the budget maintained a healthy buffer.
