When applying to the Cafe Rio Mexican Grill located in Redlands, I was unaware that I’d be working at the second busiest Cafe Rio store in California. My first position at Cafe Rio was To-Go Server where timing and orchestration is key. Because I understood well the routine of the restaurant, managers noticed my brisk maneuver and moved me from position to position throughout the restaurant. This allowed me to become one of the most skilled employees in the workplace. In doing so, I was then promoted to become a manager. My role as a manager includes experience with accounting, precise supervision upon every position, cleanliness and organization-whether that be upon the environment or food-, following scheduled routines/ breaks, and working with my team to provide good customer service. Earning my position in management has allowed me to gain a great understanding in the potential for success in any workplace.

During my Senior Year of High School, I took the role as Vice President of the NAMI Anchored Mental Health Club. My role as Vice President was to assist the club President in all tasks and events varying from club meetings to club fairs and fundraisers. Planning and presenting were two major activities that had taken a majority of my role which tied in with my communication with the club members. I was to keep club members well informed on information including mental health/ psychology and other activities outside of our meetings, for example, club events. Given the opportunity to serve the role as Vice President of NAMI Anchored, I’ve developed greater leadership and team skills.
I've been invested into physical fitness beginning in my Freshman year of High School. I had no source of transportation so I started off with a running routine throughout the downtown area of my city, then eventually joking the wrestling team in Senior year of High School. Eventually when I got my own source of transportation, I purchased a membership for the gym eventually excelling my love for fitness. When I’m not going to the gym or running, I spend my spare time Roller Skating.
