I worked in the laboratory at Fairview University of Minnesota Hospital as a Technical Specialist in the Drug Analysis Laboratory.


My main responsibilities were maintaining all of the QC and maintenance records for all of the Special Chemistry Labs. This also included method development utilizing Mass Spectrometry. Additionally, I was responsible for writing all SOP's for new testing as well as validation reports.


Duties also included training new laboratory staff, troubleshooting lab instrumentation, maintaining laboratory inventory as well as acting as a liaison between lab staff and other medical staff.


When my direct supervisor was not present, I took on her role and dealt with HR issues, scheduling issues as well as daily issues regarding staff.
