Growing up in a family deeply rooted in sports medicine has profoundly shaped my aspirations. My mother, a Sports Medical Physician, and my parents' business, Global Event Medicine, have provided me with unique insights into the field. Since I was 10, I’ve been actively involved in our family business, which travels nationwide to support volleyball, marathon, and triathlon events.Initially, my role was simple: making ice bags for athletes. By 14, I progressed to wrapping injuries, gaining hands-on experience with various sports-related injuries. Over the years, I learned how to support players both physically and emotionally, often assisting Athletic Trainers during events. Their expertise inspired me, and I absorbed valuable lessons on managing injuries and responding to emergencies. This immersive experience ignited my passion for emergency medical services (EMS), motivating me to pursue a career where I can combine my love for sports with medical care. I am eager to further my education and training in EMS to make a meaningful impact on athletes' lives.
