Accomplishments
Processed and sorted average of 600k pieces of mail per day with and average of 1 partner. Required to Work with 3 other partners when working on flats sorters machine. So we worked in random teams and different personalities that each employee had to learn how to be flexible working with various personalities.
Trained a minimum of 25 new postal clerks.
Collaborated with team of 10-12 co workers in the development of a first time Political mail organized set up to insure the correct mail ballots were delivered to correct clerk of election for 7 counties. Within the 7 counties each supplied colored envelope provided to be used to return ballot. Some of the envelopes were very similar but yet required a different form of postage. We had to confirm each piece was in proper sleeved postal tray prior to being released to agent for election committee. Going forward the team made suggestions on how to suggest changes to ensure future mistakes could be avoided such as linking colored to types of required postage for voters for example.
Achieved 100% by completing First political mail in ballot with accuracy and efficiency in Presidential 2016 election. The USPS was under pressure to provide every effort our agency would not be used as a pawn for either side as to why one or anther would not be blamed for any inappropriate action on our part so additional measures were made to secure the USPS maintained all laws and procedures were complied with.
