As a cashier, I picked up everything pretty quickly. I remembered a few POUs, scanned items, and provided good customer service on the first day there. Now I'd say that I know about everything. I know most of my POUs, how to do exchanges, how to return items, and a few little tricks using EBT and WIC benefits, etc. I would also maintain a clean register and help customers when they needed assistance. I kept the same attitude toward customer service as a bagger and carried it over as a cashier. It definitely makes my job lighter and more fun with friendly interactions.
Completed training efficiently, mastering zones and bagging techniques. I figured out my zones, got the carts as fast as possible, and bagged with efficiency and care. Greeted customers and demonstrated quick learning and adaptability, leading to promotion to cashier within 6 months.
I graduated Pearsall High School with my diploma and an Associates of General Studies degree through Southwest Texas College in December 2025. I am continuing my education there to become a nurse through the ADN program. Throughout my years in high school I was very involved being a regional qualifying powerlifter and varsity softball player, along with being in JROTC, NHS, and Rotary while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I was also striving for my associates degree by taking dual credit courses and additional college courses as electives. I maintained a 3.8 average GPA, graduating Cum Laude of my class while also being in Phi Theta Kappa.
