"Jake" of all trades at Midstate Mitsubishi. I am a loyal employee who has spent over 6 years with a company that has helped me become the person that I am today. When first employed with Midstate Mitsubishi (Midstate Auto Group, Inc at the time), I was mainly utilized for product demonstrations, lot management and customer delivery preparation. Shortly after starting at the dealership, I was assigned multiple duties pertaining to my current job title (Internet Director). This included website management, online listings management, and regular meetings with third party vendors. With the addition of the Mitsubishi franchise in February of 2020, my responsibilities continued to grow as now I was directly communicating with the OEM to remain within digital advertising/online presence guidelines. I have continued these roles to this point. Being a trusted member of the team at Midstate Mitsubishi, much of the dealership relies on me to take care of digital and physical items needing attention on the day-to-day. I am the resident product specialist, with a vast knowledge of vehicles, their trim levels, specifications, and available technology. I am in charge of new employee training on the sales side. I maintain the dealership's parking lot as well as the vehicle's online photos. When the FTC added in the "Safeguard" rules for customer data compliance in 2023, I was appointed to be in charge of maintaining dealership and customer data security. In June of 2025, several of our staff members departed to a second rooftop opened by the owner of my organization. Since they have left, I have been the backup finance manager as well as a sales consultant. While these two roles are not my forte, they are done adequately.
I have built a great relationship with the employees at my dealership, our largely repeat/referral customer base, the OEM representatives and the numerous vendors I have worked with throughout the years. Midstate has built quite the reputation over the years. Their reputation was great prior to my arrival, and has only grown since, Since obtaining the Mitsubishi franchise, we have won the "Quarterly District Sales Satisfaction Award" 17 of the 19 times we were eligible. We've also won the "Annual Northeast Customer Experience Award" twice and the "Annual Northeast Sales Satisfaction Award" once. I take great pride in where I work and represent the company with the utmost respect and gratitude. As stated previously, I am a very loyal employee, but my compliance in taking on several job titles at once has worn me thin and it is time for a change.
