I am a dependable candidate, who is successful at managing multiple priorities with a positive attitude and very willing to take on additional responsibilities to meet team goals. I started my job at Amazon right after graduation and about a year into my job, I decided I wanted to move up in the company and make a great name for myself.
After talking with many area managers and process assistants about me wanting to move up, I became a process guide where I learned many tips and tricks on how to smoothly get through the shift with little to no mistakes! As a process guide, I have proven my team leadership skills when running flights whilst boosting team moral and keeping my team focused and maintaining a low recirculation percentage. I have also proven my quick performance and how I’m an organized individual by working at flow control. I am open to new ideas, and show room for growth and I’m not scared to ask questions that help better my knowledge so I can show what I’m capable of. At Flow, I pull segments every 15 minutes to show how much freight is left to process between Ground and Parcel, Lane Stats every hour to track all chutes and diverts. Lane stats allow us to monitor recirculation percentages and deep dive our biggest opportunities as well as determine which locations need labor sharing and which locations could provide. I also call out jams to make sure we get them cleared in a timely manner to keep that recirculation percentage down.
I consider myself as an outgoing, bubbly and kind individual who is very cooperative, motivated and creative and can come up with new ideas on how we could operate things differently and improve timing of certain tasks. I’m also very confident and strive to make a difference.
