  • As a consultant here, I had to be comfortable asking extremely difficult questions to uncover what kind of financial position they are in
  • For instance, I'd uncover their whole portfolio and find out what truly motivates them to want to change their life
  • After that I'd help them realize their dreams are real and attainable
  • This consultation would generally take 1-3 hours and we were having them spend anywhere from $5,000 to 20.000 dollars in a short period of time without ever meeting them
  • We averaged around 20-100 employees and I'd finish in the top 20% each year and was able to increase my sales annually

  • This process as you can imagine can be anywhere from 3 months to over a year, for just one deal
  • Average transaction we funded was 2.5 million dollars
  • My gross margin was in the top 5% out of 100 consultants
  • What I really enjoyed about this job was demonstrating the ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization
